About
The International Society for Transdisciplinary Engineering (ISTE), former International Society for Productivity Enhancement (ISPE) was founded in 1984 in the USA. In 2004 it was renamed into ISPE, Inc. and registered in New York. It has the goal to support and improve international exchange of ideas and scientific knowledge, transfer and integrate new knowledge or new technologies, and enhance productivity and competitiveness of current products/services to improve the quality of the life. ISPE, Inc. has successfully organized 24 international conferences, focusing on Concurrent and Transdisciplinary Engineering and related topics. From 2016 onwards, the series of conferences have taken the name of “International Conference on Transdisciplinary Engineering” to reflect recent practices that cross the boundaries of traditional engineering, in close alignment with the use and application context, including the Concurrent Engineering approach.
